Telemetrics Unveils New Desktop Camera Control Panel
New Modular Unit Allows For Easy System Expansion.
Las Vegas, NV (April 8, 2002) - Telemetrics, Inc. is demonstrating its new CP-D-3A Camera Robotics Control Panel with three-axis joystick control for smooth operator like movements here at NAB 2002. The new unit features a modular design that can be easily expanded and upgraded to accommodate additional cameras and control capabilities that interface with the company's extensive line of camera robotics systems.
"The new CP-D-3A control panel delivers refined control capabilities to take complete advantage of our new servo controlled pan/tilt heads, trolley systems and elevator systems," said Anthony Cuomo, Vice President, Telemetrics, Inc. The CP-D-3A features a high quality three-axis joystick for pan, tilt and zoom functions with speed select knobs to adjust sensitivity. The unit communicates via RS-232/422 to Telemetrics servo controlled pan/tilt heads and serial receivers. Options include camera ROP control, iris master black control, and a rocker switch for variable speed control of the Televator Elevating Pedestal, or camera track left and right.
In addition, the CP-D-3A Camera Robotics Control Panel can be expanded with optional modules that are easily added onto the desktop housing. The expansion modules can be programmed to accommodate multiple cameras and preset selects, motion control
for movement recording and recall, weatherproof system control functions, and tally control and input.
