Super Dry Launches High Visibility Desiccant Cabinets
Moisture specialist Super Dry has launched a new series of desiccant storage solutions. Complementing the company’s extensive range of ultra low humidity drying and storagecabinets, the ESDA “360 View” cabinets feature an ESD safe acrylic enclosure that provides visual access to the entire cabinet interior from all sides.
Ever increasing miniaturization of electronics, including thinner components and new materials has made the management and treatment of moisture sensitivity an increasingly critical element of electronics product reliability. Manufacturers arebeing challenged to manage larger and larger volumes of parts in a controlled and traceable manner.
Cabinet recovery time is a critical performance factor and frequent and extended door openings impact the interior environment. Super Dry® 360 View cabinets provide complete and convenient access at a glance while moisture sensitive components remain optimally protected within their 1% RH environment. The ESD safe enclosures feature individually lockable doors which are alarmed for out of spec RH or extended opening times. 10 chrome steel shelves support over 400 lbs (181 kg) and are connected to the conductive frame. ESD wristbands can be connected as well.
The integrated U2000 Series Dry Unit delivers 1% RH. An exterior control panel and digital display enable convenient RH, alarm and calibration settings. Relevant process data can be recorded with a precision data logger featuring a 0.8% accurate digital sensor and USB output.
