DemandTec Customer and Solutions to Be Featured at IGD Convention 2010 on October 12 in London


Breakfast seminar to highlight how Target Corporation leverages DemandTec software services to make more localized merchandising and marketing decisions

SAN MATEO, Calif. - DemandTec, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMAN), today announced that it will sponsor the DemandTec Breakfast Seminar featuring a key customer, Target Corporation, and exhibit at the IGD Convention 2010 on October 12 in London. The IGD Convention 2010 brings together experts from the food and grocery industry in an annual event to discuss the key issues and experiences impacting leading manufacturers and retailers. DemandTec will be exhibiting on the main show floor.

In the breakfast seminar titled "Enhanced Merchandising with Shopper Insights", convention attendees can hear how Target intends to leverage DemandTec Shopper Insights(TM) and demand analytics to make more localized merchandising and marketing decisions that improve the relevance and value of Target's offerings for their guests. Shelley Hyytinen, Vice President of Merchandising Process and System Development at Target, will describe Target's approach to understanding their guests' unique needs and then finding the appropriate merchandising and marketing strategies to meet these needs. The presentation will include Target's perspective on assortment planning and the applicability of analytics and shopper insights to this process. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. local time in London.
