DEK Expertise and Value-Driven Technology Central Components of Productronica 2013 Display

Visitors are Invited to Bring Printing Challenges and Discover Solutions

DEK is world-renowned for its ability to develop technology innovations that solve printing challenges and provide exceptional value for global electronics manufacturing specialists.  At Productronica 2013, taking place in Munich, Germany from 12 to 15 November, this driving force behind DEK's customers' success will be on display through a multi-booth presence at the event.

From five different locations on the show floor, DEK will demonstrate its ability to deliver meaningful technologies for modern-day assembly operations.    The centerpiece of DEK's dedicated display in Hall A2, Booth #450 is the company's Print Lab Solutions Center.   Staffed by knowledgeable, experienced DEK print technologists, the DEK Print Lab Solutions Center is an open forum for discussion of printing issues and market opportunities.  Show delegates are invited to submit any and all questions to the DEK team ahead of the event – or at the event, whichever is preferred – and receive free consultative printing advice and solutions planning.    Leveraging the broad range of printing advances that will also be demonstrated within the DEK display, visitors will experience the tools that can deliver on process objectives.

"The powerful technologies that have been developed by DEK have all come to market because of the expertise of our team," comments Stefan Techau, DEK Electronics Assembly General Manger in Europe.  "That's the heart of our organization: our talented people and their unmatched knowledge base.  We are excited to share our experience and 20/20 vision for the future at the DEK Print Lab Solutions Center and also illustrate effective process technologies for the industry's most demanding applications."

Higher yields, greater throughput and extreme flexibility are the cornerstones of DEK's product development philosophy.  At Productronica 2013, the company will illustrate how its market-leading platforms and process support products have consistently provided value and enabled global electronics manufacturing firms to meet demanding requirements.    The Horizon 01iX and Horizon 03iX platforms, with superb process capability and speed, will host novel productivity tools such as Stinger on-board dispensing technology, Cyclone understencil cleaning, HawkEye 1700 print verification and the company's latest automatic paste management duo, Automatic Paste Dispenser II and Universal Paste Roll Height Monitor.    In addition, a complete portfolio of process support products including optimized understencil cleaning chemistries and fabrics, along with DEK's new VectorGuard High Tension single-frame stencil technology, will highlight the importance of proper printing inputs for high-yield results.

Elsewhere on the show floor, DEK will partner with leading solder paste inspection (SPI) companies to demonstrate its ProDEK dynamic closed loop system.  Offset adjustments in real time combine with automatic understencil cleaning frequency management to limit operator intervention and deliver excellent process control, resulting result in greater throughput and yield.    Show attendees can see ProDEK in action at SmartRep featuring Koh Young (Hall A2, Booth #371), PARMI (Hall A2, Booth #165) and Viscom (Hall A2, Booth #177).     At electronic association VDMA Productronic's booth, DEK will participate in the "Automotive Electronics, New Technology, Extreme Conditions" exhibit, where its Horizon 01iX platform will demonstrate its future capability for automotive electronics manufacturing.

"We have made every effort to ensure that no visitor leaves Productronica without having experienced DEK solutions first-hand," says DEK Global Marketing Director, Karen Moore-Watts, in conclusion.  "With five locations on the show floor and numerous technologies and talent represented, I am confident DEK will have an impact with show delegates at the event and beyond."
