New Cooper Decorator Switch Line Designed for Quieter, Smoother Action and Long-Lasting Use

Long Island City, New York, June 11, 2003 - Cooper Wiring Devices has introduced a totally redesigned Decorator Switch line -- the new 7500 Series. After a thorough survey of the marketplace, Cooper found that distributors, contractors and consumers alike desired a decorator switch that would be quieter,
provide a smooth on-off "feel", and insure long-lasting durability.

Cooper's new 7500 Series Decorator Switch Line contains a rocker design that provides users with quiet action and a firm "feel". New backwire clamps on the side terminals provide for easier installation using either #12 or #14 wire. The new switches are built using virtually unbreakable thermoplastic construction for the rocker, top and backbody. Advanced fabrication techniques including ultrasonically-welded top and backbody increase structural integrity. The 7500 Series is backed by a 5-year Limited Warranty. All 7500 Series Decorator Switches are UL and cUL listed.
