Cobalt and its Dealix division continue to invest in innovative Usedcars.com product

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 21 -- Dealix, a division of Cobalt, and the leading provider of quality automotive leads for dealerships, dealer groups and automotive manufacturers, announced today the introduction of a second generation phone leads solution for Usedcars.com. Phone Leads 2.0 is the first solution to automatically deliver call data -- with a link to the call recording and appended with address information -- directly into the major customer relationship management systems used by dealers.

Phone Leads 2.0 dramatically improves the value and measurability of phone leads generated from dealer advertising. Listings of cars on the Usedcars.com service which include both phone and email links are shown to generate more than twice as many leads as those with email links only.(1)

The new product set includes five innovative features making the leads more manageable, measurable and trackable:

-- CallPost(TM): Each phone lead is converted to an email with the caller's phone number, address and time of call, which is sent directly to the dealer's CRM system.
-- Superior Call Filters: A dealer is not charged for calls that are less than 65 seconds in duration. In addition, no calling number is billed as a lead more than once.
-- Quarantined Numbers: A dealer will not be assigned a number unless proven to have been "ring free" for the previous 12 weeks.
-- Verification and Accountability: Each call is recorded for playback by the dealer, allowing dealers to verify the product and improve phone lead handling by those answering the calls.
-- Enhanced Reporting: Phone leads can also be received on PDAs, cell phones, pagers, and as text email messages.

These new capabilities, which collectively represent a large advancement in phone lead functionality in the automotive space, are just the latest in a year of significant investment by Dealix in Usedcars.com, which has experienced record growth throughout 2008. Dealix partnered closely with the Marchex Digital Platform Group to create these new enhancements to Phone Leads 2.0.
