Endicott, NY, May 21, 2002 - The new DMD Series DC-AC inverter from Endicott Research Group (ERG) Inc. provides wide-range dimming via a simple analog signal for LCDs that are backlight by four cold cathode fluorescent lamps (tubes).

The DMD inverter is the ideal power solution for LCD modules in the 15" - 18" diagonal size range that are used in applications such as medical imaging, point-of-sales (POS) displays, kiosks, and desktop computer monitors.

It is a highly efficient inverter of open-frame construction that provides up to 23 watts of output power, integrated input and output connectors, and onboard PWM (pulse width modulation) dimming that can be externally controlled via an analog signal.
