Corrosion-Resistant, Moisture Proof Wiring Devices Install 12 Times Faster & Have Five Year Warranty
Four new wiring devices have recently been added to the Marinco DC product line.
The new 12-volt 12VRCTT (Thin Terminal) receptacle features two different-sized NEMA connection tabs to prevent misconnection during installation. The new 12VPG2A is a 12-volt plug fused at 2-amp instead of the 12VPG's standard 10-amp fuse.
The new 24VRC receptacle and 24VPG plug have the same design features as the 12-volt products, but with a 24-volt rating and a red LED power indicator light (instead of green) on the plug.
The new Slide-Lok(TM) locking ring is available exclusively on Marinco DC electrical receptacles. It allows installers to slide the keyed ring past most of the receptacle's threads, until the ring is flush against the panel (or dashboard); a quarter turn then engages the ring's keys onto the receptacle's threads, pressing the ring firmly against the back of the panel. Installers prefer the Slide-Lok ring because it reduces repetitive motions (hand turning) and it is much easier to use in hard-to-reach dashboard installations. OEMs can also install the receptacles into dashboards or panels using a front mounting plate (12MP.OEM).
