Servo Magnetics Inc. - Canoga Park, CA- the new 000-0317 high performance brushless DC kit motor from Servo Magnetics Inc. is designed for applications where high torque needs to be efficiently produced in very limited space. Designed with an operating voltage of 12 volts, this motor is capable of delivering in excess of 75 oz-in of torque. This is accomplished in a thin 0.51" profile and a diameter of 3.77". The motor has been designed with a large inner-rotor dimension to accommodate a myriad of useful mounting configurations including light beam passage or wire/cable channeling. The stator is constructed using molded, high-temperature plastic and includes 4 screw-mount tabs for easy mounting. Simple electrical interfacing to the stator is accomplished by molded exit pins. Commutation feedback is currently utilizes Hall-Effect sensors although a variety of electrical and mechanical options are also available including windings for specific power requirements, drive-specific commutation and custom mounting configurations.
