September 7, 2005 - New 36 Volt DC Gearmotor Develops 7.5 IN LB. Torque at 700 RPM -

Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear Motor, the Model No. MMP-TM55-36V GP52-007. Accepting any 36 Volt DC source, including battery power, this robust Gear Motor measures just 2.14" in Diameter, by 6.75" long, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long. Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 "face mount" M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm Diameter B.C.

The output of the gearmotor is rated for .85 Nm continuous torque, at 700 RPM, and 4.0 Nm Peak. Despite it's compact size and weight, the Motor is an efficient design, requiring just 2.6 Ampere at 36 Volts DC to generate its Full Load Output Torque. Optional 12 & 24 Volt windings also available.

This unit is rated at an "IP 54" protection level for operation in harsh environments.

Typical options available with this Servo Motor include integral Optical Encoders, Failsafe Brakes, Analog Tachometers, and Planetary Gear heads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1, with standard or low backlash precision gearing available.
