Designed to meet cost-sensitive power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O ASTRODYNE offers the CostCutter product line of miniature SIP/ DIP, and modular packaged converters that provide output power over the range of 0.75 Watts to 60Watts. The CostCutter Series accept single-range and 2:1 wide range inputs from 4.5 to 72 VDC that provide single and dual outputs from 3.3 to 15VDC. All models in the CostCutter Series contain short circuit protection and an internal input filter, eliminating the need for the addition of external components and all models are pinout and size compatible to more costly products. In addition, the CostCutter Series provides from 1600VAV input-to-output isolation and will operate over the ambient temperature range of -25 to +71°C without forced cooling or output power derating. The units are fully encapsulated with full EMI shielding.
