Industrial/Automotive Power Supplies 60 Watt Wide Input Range



POLYTRON DEVICES, INC. has recently released for mass production a product line of 60 Watt Automotive/ Industrial DC/DC converters housed in a 6" X 3" X 1.7" package. This convenient package is sold with input/output heavy duty cables and is totally enclosed in an environmentally sealed heavy duty aluminum case with a weather proof switch. (Cables are also available separately.) This series, designated "AICP, is designed for any applications exposed to rugged environments including heavy duty industrial and automotive applications. Specific applications include: Heavy duty forklift computers, nautical navigation systems, nautical computer systems and much more.

These power supplies operate without derating or heat sinking over their full specified temperature range . This series is available with 12Vdc out with input voltages as follows: 9-36Vdc Input, 16-72Vdc Input and 36-72Vdc Input. Other input and output voltages are also available.

Pertinent specifications include: input filter, short circuit protection and high efficiency (up to 85%) All units are burned in under full load, hi-pot tested and final electrical tested prior to shipment.

* The input and output cords are connected to the module by molex plugs. This means that each of the three parts can be changed independently of the others. The input/output cables also have a nylon chafe guard for abrasion resistance.
The input cable battery side will be supplied stripped and tinned. The output cable will be terminated with the supplied plug .
