Designed to meet point-of-load power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O, ASTRODYNE announces the new ASD35 Series. These miniature DIP packaged DC/DC converters provide output power of 3 Watts. The ASD35 Series accept a single-range input from 4.5 to 6VDC. Seven models are available that provide single and dual outputs from 5 to 15VDC. All models in this series contain continuous short circuit protection and an internal input filter, eliminating the need for the addition of external components. In addition, the ASD35 Series is UL and cUL approved. Up to 1500V I/O isolation can be provided. Operating Ambient Temperature Range: -25 to +71°C without forced cooling. The units are fully encapsulated and are pin-out and size identical to industry standards.
