Designed to meet power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O, ASTRODYNE announces the FDC60 Series modular packaged DC/DC converters that provide output power of 60 Watts. This new series accepts 2:1 wide range inputs from 9 to 72 VDC with over 20 models available that provide single and dual outputs from 3.3 to 15VDC. All models in the FDC60 Series contain short circuit protection, over voltage and On/Off Control functions. An internal input filter eliminates the need for the addition of external components and all models are pinout and size compatible to more costly products. In addition, the FDC60 Series provides 1 600V Input-to-Output isolation and will operate over the ambient temperature range of -25 to +71°C without forced cooling or output power derating.
