Designed to meet cost-sensitive point-of-load power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O, ASTRODYNE announces the new SB05 Series of miniature DIP packaged DC/DC converters that provide output power of 5 Watts. The SB05 Series accept single-range and 2:1 wide range inputs from 9 to 75 VDC, and 24 models are available that provide single and dual outputs from 3.3 to 24VDC. All models in the SB05 Series contain short circuit protection and an internal input filter, eliminating the need for the addition of external components. In addition, the SB05 Series provides 1600V input-to-output isolation and will operate over the ambient temperature range of -25 to +71°C without forced cooling or output power derating.
