Designed to meet the specific needs of telecommunications and embedded system applications, ASTRODYNE has introduced a new series of open frame isolated 15W DC/DC converters to their MicroBrick product line that are now fully approved for EN60950 and UL1950 SELV safety standards. The new Series consists of 21 models with wide 4:1 Input Ranges of 9-36 and 18-75VDC and single and dual outputs from 3.3 to 15VDC. The ASD15H Series features a unique open frame construction with an integral finned heat sink that permits operation over the temperature range of -25° to +71 °C without additional cooling or derating. All models provide over voltage and continuous short circuit protection and contain an internal input PI filter that eliminates need for the addition of external components as well as an output inhibit/control pin for remote on/off control. The ASD15H Series features industry-standard package dimensions of 1.6"L X 2"W X 0.375"H and standard pin-outs for convenient PCB mounting in new and existing applications.
