Weidmuller Expands its connectPower Family to Include a Line of DC to DC Converters

CHICAGO (March 18, 2002) - Weidmuller, Inc. has expanded its connectPower family of power supplies, adding a line of CP-DCDC DC to DC Converters. These DC to DC converters offer compact DIN-rail mount designs for maximum space and cost savings.

Weidmuller's DC to DC converters are available in two input types-12 Vdc and 24 Vdc. Output variants range from 5 Vdc/8 A, 12 Vdc/3 A, and 24 Vdc/2 A. These new converters also have continuous short circuit protection on the output, over and under voltage protection. Status indication is standard.

The CP-DCDC 50W family's very slim design-occupying only 2 1/4 inches of DIN-rail space-is greatly beneficial for use in applications where space is limited. The CP-DCDC 50W family is TS 35 DIN-Rail mountable and comes in a durable metal housing. An optional chassis mount hardware is available at a minimal price.
