Wide Input Range DC/DC Converter
Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. announces the availability of the 150W HEW DC/DC Series. The HEW Series has a wide 4:1 input range, 9 to 36VDC and 18 to 75VDC. Output voltages are 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24VDC. All models are isolated input to output. The power rating of the HEW is 150W. Each model is available in pcb through-hole mount, chassis mount and DIN mount packaging making the units ideal for a variety of applications including 12 and 24V vehicle, 24V industial bus power, 28V military bus power, and 48V battery power.
Each model features remote ON/OFF, auto-softstart, volt-seconds clamp with fast over-voltage protection, thermal shutdown, pulse by pulse current limiting, short circuit frequency foldback, dead short shutdown, trim and remote sense. Units are available in RoHS and non-RoHS. All models are encapsulated for protection against dust, moisture, shock and vibration. Threaded though holes are provided in all packages to allow easy mounting or to add a heat sink for extended temperature use. The temperature range of the HEW Series is -40 to +100C.
