New Low-Profile Inverter From ERG Powers 10.4" - 15" LCDs Lit By 2 To 4 CCFLs

Endicott, NY, February 2002 - The new LD Series low-profile DC-AC inverter from Endicott Research Group (ERG) is the ideal low-cost power solution for 10.4" to 15.0" diagonal LCDs that are backlit by 2 to 4 cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) or
CCF tubes. Powered by a regulated 12V DC source, the LD Series inverter has up to 10 watts of output power, with integrated I/O connectors, and is only 8 mm in height.

The inverter is highly efficient and is fully compatible with the majority of controller cards in use today. The LD's wide dimming range is achieved by on-board PWM dimming controlled by an analog voltage signal, so the LD can be easily dimmed by simply supplying an analog signal.

The LD Series inverter measures 6.15" (156.2 mm) long x 1.03" (26.2 mm) wide, and weighs only 26 g. Operating temperature range is 0° to +50° C.

Pricing for the LD Series SC-AC inverter is $25.37 in 1,000 piece quantities. Delivery is 2-4 weeks A.R.O.
