Avalon Introduces ProcessRx for PlantVision 7 at NPE 2003
ProcessRx is an industrial process documentation and statistical process control (SPC) database system, complete with image archival and playback capability. ProcessRx for Avalon's PlantVision 7 machine vision software platform has been Internet enabled, adding significant power, utility and flexibility to the product. Production data and images from specific process runs can be viewed and analyzed from anywhere in the world by anyone with Microsoft Internet Explorer activated on their PC and with the IP address of the target inspection platform.
ProcessRx's animation viewer enables the user to view the production images from a specific period in time, individually or played back as an animation sequence. By selecting a problem event image, along with previous cycles leading up to it, the animation often reveals changes so subtle that they are difficult or impossible to resolve when visually monitoring the process in real time. The reporting feature creates true SPC datasets that can be presented in graphic and numeric report formats. ProcessRx is an exceptional tool for QS and ISO programs and will help take a production system to the next level of sophistication.
