New SWAT Product Features Wireless Upload, Jumbo Storage and Superior Data Management System
LOVELAND, Colo., Nov. 30 -- Security With Advanced Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:SWAT)(NASDAQ:SWATW), a leading provider of digital video surveillance solutions for the transportation sector, today announced the release of its third generation product line, the ShiftWatch(R) TVS 300. This latest release includes leading edge recording, viewing, networking, and management features and a convenient user friendly docking station.
Significant new features include wireless uploading of video data, either at the scene of an incident or at the vehicle's base location at the end of a shift. A new back end video management system is also featured which allows users to clip, categorize, annotate, manage and archive thousands of hours of captured video. A new self monitoring diagnostic system provides proactive feedback ensuring operational reliability and maximum system performance. Embedded database technology significantly enhances video searching capability based on synchronized events and GPS data. TVS 300 also includes a unique tool for upgrading and adding features to the system without costly hardware replacement. The ShiftWatch family of products is primarily used in the Public Transit sector including busses, light rail and heavy rail applications. The TVS 300 solution builds on the foundation of industry leading features such as redundant recording to ensure data reliability and survivability in the case of a catastrophic event and broadcast quality video at 30 frames per second feeding from up to 8 hi-resolution cameras or 16 total cameras. "The added feature set combined with the redesigned and improved hardware should add very positive benefits for our existing and potential customers," said Tom Marinelli, CEO of SWAT.
