New Data Acquisition System Most Versatile Available
Hudson, MA - The 5990-Series data logging system from Clark is the most versatile data acquisition technology available today. Patented, programmable ALMEMO connection plugs allow the user to connect virtually any sensor and display/log with programmable zero-adjust, scaling factor, and engineering units. Available sensors include temperature, humidity, pressure, pH, gas concentration, and air velocity. Up to 999 sensors may be connected, and 5990-Series loggers are available in bench-top or 19" rack-mount styles. The 5990 may be used strictly as a data acquisition device or may have on-board memory to store up to 400,000 measured values. All measurements may be time and date stamped.
The 5990-Series are full-featured data loggers and logging may be activated manually, be pre-programmed with start/stop dates and times, or via limit-value overshoot. The frequency of measurement logging is user-programmable from 1 second to every 60 hours. The Clark 5990-Series connects easily to a printer or PC via an RS232 output. High resolution is achieved via 16-bit A/D converter. Software included with the 5990 allows presentation of data and easy export to spreadsheets, databases, or other common applications. For more advanced data analysis such as continuous cyclic averaging or automatic archiving of data, special factory software is available.
