Data Loggers are optimized for resolution and capacity.

Press Release Summary:

Nomad products turn any instrument with analog output into time-history data logging device. Powered via integral lithium battery, model mV-HR features suppressible temperature logging channel and handles 50, 100, 200, and 400 mV inputs. All models offer 16-bit resolution and offer storage capacities of 522,240 samples when logging on one channel or 261,120 samples on both. Data sampling rate is adjustable, in intervals of 1 sec, from once per second to once every 10 hr.

Interscan Corporation Announces Improvements to its Nomad Data Loggers

Upgrades Include Increased Storage Capacity and Better Resolution

CHATSWORTH, CA, January 2 -- Interscan's Nomad data loggers have long been utilized—especially in the occupational health field—to turn any instrument with an analog output into a true time-history data logging device. The units have been upgraded to handle a wider range of inputs, offer more memory, and give better resolution.

Powered by an integral lithium battery, model mV-HR can handle inputs of:
±50 mV

±100 mV

±200 mV

±400 mV

A suppressible temperature logging channel is also included.

Featuring 16 bit resolution, the Nomads are provided with a much-enhanced storage capacity:

522,240 samples if logging on one channel

261,120 samples if logging on both channels

The Nomad's data sampling rate is adjustable - in one second intervals - from once per second to once every 10 hours. Thus, even at the quickest sampling rate, data can be stored for 145 or 72.5 hours, for one or two channels, respectively.

Supplied with easy to use yet feature-rich software, the loggers can be programmed to record in engineering units, and yield a number of useful reports. Logging files can be exported to spreadsheet programs, for further analysis.

Models designed for other voltage ranges, 4-20 mA input, and self-contained loggers for a host of environmental parameters are also available.

A comprehensive breakdown of specifications on the new Nomad data logger is posted on the company's website...
