Data Logger Kit records DC voltage and current.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring multiple inputs, DC Voltage and Current Data Logger Kit monitors 1 or 2 DC voltage channels in 1–300 Vdc range. Users can select best averaging period to suit situation, accurate to less than 1% of range. Once activated, IP65-rated datalogger stores average DC voltage current over period chosen, from 1 second to 60 minutes, and also records max and min values over that period. Capable of storing 32,000 true RMS values per channel, kit lets users keep logging for 300 days.

DC Voltage and Current Data Logger Kit Offers Added Value

CAS DataLoggers Packages Recorders and Accessories at One Price

CHESTERLAND OH— As summer is about to begin, many companies are maintaining their business-critical electrical equipment by performing battery testing and viewing DC output. It’s also a good opportunity to test solar panels before they see heavy use in the upcoming months. Now CAS DataLoggers has the affordable solution for all these applications with the new Two Channel DC Voltage and Current Data Logger Kit which records DC voltage and current at fast sample rates and high accuracy. For one low price these kits give you the logger itself, a DC current probe, fused voltage leads, a USB lead for quick data transfer, a 12Vdc PSU and FREE software. We also offer a 3-Channel DC Voltage Logger which includes current clamps for more specific applications. Give us a call at (800) 956-4437 and learn more!

Our DC voltage and current data logger features multiple inputs, monitoring 1 or 2 DC voltage channels in a wide range from 1V to 300Vdc, and a DC current channel (+/-10A or +/-100A). The logger’s flexibility enables battery testing and viewing current draw on many different kinds of equipment including DC motors, PV (photovoltaic) cell output, DC chargers, and more.

Users can select the best averaging period to suit their situation, accurate to <1% of range. Once activated, the DC datalogger stores the average DC voltage current over the period chosen (anywhere from 1 second to 60 minutes), and also records the max and min values over that period. The data logger’s memory can store 32,000 true RMS values per channel (10 bit), so users can keep logging for up to 300 days. The kit’s supplied USB cable uploads all the stored data to a PC.

Each data logger is rated IP65 for solid protection from damage and robust NEMA 12/4 rated versions are also available. For simple storage, the data logger fits easily into the included carrying case.

Each kit also provides FREE configuration and analysis software to zero in on the data. This way users can view energy/power costs  to identify savings areas by using voltage optimization methods. The simple interface allows users to upload data to PC, export data files and generate report-quality graphs. Users can also access the software database across a network to view the logger’s location and set up alarming for late returns and transfer data via email. Users can also draw electrical line diagrams, view print previews/printout reports, and output to PDF, RTF, XLS, HTML, etc.

With a large memory, high sample rate and free accessories, our low-cost data logging kits have everything users need to get started recording. Help keep your vital machinery up and running today!
