The IntelliLogger(TM) Web Empowered Data Logging System
La Mesa, California: Logic Beach Incorporated has introduced the first in a series of network connected data acquisition and alarming products utilizing HyperWare-II(TM), the customer-preferred icon-based, drop n' drag programming environment. The IntelliLogger(TM) portable data logging system is a powerful, self-contained instrument that provides Network enabled methods of data collection and retrieval for easier than ever remote monitoring applications.
Data loggers, instruments used for the monitoring and recording of temperatures, pressures, flows, power, strain, etc., have been vital to industry worldwide for remote monitoring, R&D, test, and process control. Until recently data loggers have been largely isolated, autonomous instruments, but now the IntelliLogger(TM) adds a complete set of networked features to stand-alone data logging systems allowing for the real-time integration into networked systems. With built-in Ethernet and Web serving capabilities, the new IntelliLogger(TM) allows the monitoring of equipment and the presentation of logger acquired information via a Web browser. Automated wide spread dissemination of collected data is easily accomplished as a result of innovative IntelliLogger features allowing for Web presented data and control, data FTP actions, e-mail of alarms and data, standard and custom Web pages.
To date, network enabled data loggers are programmed with either drop down menus which severely limit the functionality of the product, or with elaborate custom programs which require a steep learning curve and expensive development costs. The IntelliLogger(TM), with HyperWare-II software, creates simple to in-depth programs by quickly connecting a series of graphical Program Icons to create the desired data manipulation. In addition to Input and Output Icons, HyperWare-II includes over 40 Process Icons for conditional and intelligent logging scenarios, mathematics and statistics. New Icons added in HyperWare II include e-mail, FTP, messaging functions, and user-created custom graphic Web pages make data logging and information sharing an easily accomplished task.
Users may view current data values and historic profiles, actuate remote control functions, and download and clear data via a standard browser without custom or proprietary software. The IntelliLogger(TM) is also capable of sending alarms and data to e-mail enabled pagers, cell phones and PDAs. The IntelliLogger(TM) serves both standard and custom graphic Web pages and can be programmed to FTP data to a server for incorporation into an Enterprise Wide System data base. End users create custom Web pages to present remote site data in an easy to understand format utilizing graphical thermometers, angular gauges, digital displays, LEDs, switches, and more. The pages are viewed with the free Logic Beach developed browser, Greenwater(TM), which speeds download and refresh rates.

Future plans call for Bbus compatible I/O expansion Interface Modules.
