Press Release Summary:

Embedded Model TFX-11v2 provides 19 analog channels, 24 digital lines, 2 UARTs, up to 6.4 kHz sampling rate, and 2 Mbyte of Flash EEPROM memory. Minimum current draw is less than 100 µA in low-power mode with up to 150 mA available for data acquisition or control tasks. Unit measures only 1.2 x 2.75 x 0.50 in. Logger/controller is user-programmed in Windows®-based TFTools Integrated Development Environment using TFBASIC.

Original Press Release:

Tattletale® TFX-11v2 Low-Power Embedded Data Logger/Controller Has Smaller Footprint and Larger Flash Memory

Onset Computer Corporation introduces the TFX-11v2, a new member of its Tattletale Flash eXpress family of embedded data loggers/controllers, which are widely used in applications requiring low-power operation. With a footprint of only 1.2 x 2.75 x 0.50 inches, the TFX-11v2 provides 19 analog channels (11 @ 12-bit resolution; 8 @ 8-bit resolution), 24 digital lines (16 bi-directional and 8 input only), 2 UARTs (one software), up to 6.4 kHz sampling rate, and 2 MB of Flash EEPROM memory. Minimum current draw for the TFX-11v2 is less than 100 microamps in low-power mode, with up to 150 mA available for data acquisition or control tasks.

The TFX-11v2's combination of small footprint, low power, I/O capability, and Flash memory make it an ideal choice for applications requiring portability or prolonged field deployment where fast sampling over multiple channels and non-volatile data storage are critical. The TFX-11v2, based on Motorola 68HC11 and Microchip PIC 16F873A processors, is user-programmed in Onset's Windows®-based TFTools Integrated Development Environment (IDE) using TFBASIC, which includes many high-level commands that simplify the development process.
