With the addition of the CF100 Canning Fitting accessory, monitoring the internal temperatures of canned goods during processing and production is made easy.
The CF100 canning fitting secures the HiTemp140 Data Logger to the top of almost any can or jar lid. This fitting forms a tight seal with the probe of the logger inserted to monitor the center of the can or jar. The CF100 keeps the logger firmly in position and can be adjusted to determine desired probe depth. This allows the user to monitor different can sizes with the same data logger probe length.
The CF100 is compatible with HiTemp140 logger models with probes lengths ranging from 2 inches to 7 inches. Select the model that will ensure measurements are being taken at the center of the can, also known as the cold point, to guarantee all contents of the can maintain the required temperatures.
The CFK100 canning fitting kit comes with an awl for piercing and a hole punch to puncture the lid of the can or jar specifically to fit the CF100.
