Pitney Bowes' Group 1 Software Announces Latest Version of Data Flow(TM) Data Integration Solution

64-bit platform delivers enhanced performance at high memory utilization levels --

LANHAM, Md.--Group 1 Software, Inc., a Pitney Bowes Company (NYSE: PBI), today announced the latest version of its Data Flow data integration solution, featuring 64-bit support for quicker and more efficient handling of larger customer data sets.

The Data Flow data integration solution makes it easy to access, integrate, manipulate, and analyze data. Data Flow's unique architecture enables high-volume data transfer, rapid query-based extracts, analysis, and reporting. With an easy-to-manage drag-and-drop interface, Data Flow users can visually diagram workflow processes to create data warehouses, integrate disparate data, perform business analysis, and deploy content to users.

With the announcement of version 6.4, Data Flow now includes 64-bit capability, providing increased memory for faster handling of simultaneous handling of tasks, such as sorting, aggregating or lookups, in memory instead of writing to disk. The latest version of Data Flow also expands the ability of the platform to serve larger audiences both over the Web and within the corporate network. Importantly, Data Flow 6.4 is fully compatible with version 6.0, enabling seamless upgrades for existing users.

"The latest version of Data Flow provides improved performance at high memory utilization levels, while maintaining the easy-to-use-interface that has made Data Flow popular with users," said Christopher Baker, president of Group 1 Software. "This added capability will ensure that our customers can efficiently manage the growing amount of data that is typical in today's data center environments without sacrificing performance."

Data Flow is a powerful and flexible integration engine that brings together data from different sources into a single server where a comprehensive set of data transformation tools can merge and cleanse the data and apply business rules to enhance its business value. Data Flow is a single-source data integration solution capable of performing traditional extract, transform and load (ETL) and business intelligence (BI) initiatives.
