Tegra® and Optyx® Sorters and ADR®4 French Fry Defect Removal System

Key Data Manager Provides Real-Time Information

Key Technology's Key Data Manager (KDM) helps food manufacturers improve profitability with real-time quality data, trend analysis, and network communications. Available for Tegra® and Optyx® optical inspection systems, and ADR®4, KDM stores, monitors, and displays statistics on product length, defects, and throughput of a wide variety of applications, including production of French fries, where successful installations can be found worldwide.

Real-time data collected with KDM provides information used to improve process control immediately. When connected to a plant's network, information can be used to directly control equipment, all behind the scenes. Operators set length, categories, size thresholds, and product specifications on the easy-to-use graphical user interface so inspection and overall operations continue uninterrupted.

KDM users have maximized productivity, enhanced quality and increased yields. Labor costs are reduced because process control is automated, eliminating the need for manual quality sampling. KDM monitors product characteristics with detailed accuracy when compared to measurements taken in on-site laboratories; quality variances are detected immediately. Real-time flow measurement also optimizes product recovery and throughput.

Key can quickly upgrade existing Tegra® and Optyx® optical inspection systems and ADR®4's to run KDM's application-specific modules. Minimal operator training is required.
