Original Press Release:

USB DAS: 16 Channels, 16 Bits, 100 kHz - No Sweat!

Data acquisition just got easier! CyberResearch, Inc. is proud to
announce the new UDAQ(TM) family of USB DAS modules and software.
Hot-swap UDAQ modules offer 4 to 16 channels, 12 to 24 bits, and
speeds to 100kHz, plus a 2k FIFO buffer, fast 1kHz D/A conversion, 16 DIO, 500V isolation, and 80 dB noise rejection.

UDAQ USB data-acquisition modules and software were conceived as a complete, compatible family. They come with your choice of screw terminals, 50 and 26-pin headers, or BNC and DB25 connectors. All A/D modules include DIO lines and D/A lines for communication and control.

The UDAQ DIO module provides 96 total lines: 32 dedicated input lines and 64 I/O lines organized in 8 banks of 8. It includes 500V of isolation and enough muscle to drive solid-state relays.

Since all the UDAQ modules are self-contained units, they don't require you to open up your PC - or even to restart it. Just plug them into the USB port and install the software. Free software includes oscilloscope and strip-chart functions with Fast Fourier Transforms, a quick-start data-acquisition program,
and drivers for Win 98/NT4/2000/ME.

In addition to USB, PCI, and ISA data-acquisition systems - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers custom-built industrial PCs, as well as motion-control systems. For more information on any of our products, call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit www.cyberresearch.com.
