Multi-Channel Temperature Measurement for Labs and Test Benches

Delphin Expert Key T from CAS DataLoggers

CHESTERLAND OH– CAS DataLoggers and Delphin introduce the new Expert Key 100T and 200T DAQ Systems, designed for multi-channel temperature measurement and also suited to combined high-speed signal acquisition. The compact Expert Key T devices have console-type housings and are specifically designed for use in laboratories and test stands as tabletop or wall-mounted devices. Now users can acquire, monitor and analyze their measurement data all on the same device.

Measurement technology should always be this simple and reliable!

The system’s analog and digital inputs and outputs are easy to access, and signals and actuators are quick to connect without requiring any tools. These inexpensive systems are made up of Expert Key hardware and include ProfiSignal Go PC software which enables users to quickly begin acquiring their measurement data. All models are also equipped with USB and Ethernet interfaces and are made in Germany with high quality construction.

Providing a wide input array for a broad range of applications, the Delphin Expert Key T system’s universal analog inputs directly connect to thermocouples, RTDs, and mVolt/mA signals. Each analog input is equipped with BNC and thermo mini connectors to connect any type of thermocouple, giving users the option to choose the best sensor type for their specific project. Additionally, channels can be assigned individual sampling rates as high as up to 100 kHz to enable simultaneous processing of temperature channels and high-speed inputs, e.g. to detect pressure peaks. All inputs have galvanic isolation for protection against ground loop feedback.

Using the included ProfiSignal Go, users perform measurement data acquisition using a complete range of drivers for third-party measurement software so users don’t need to buy additional software. ProfiSignal Go enables online and offline monitoring, data analysis, and also enables quick set-up. This user-friendly software can also exchange data with other systems using an OPC server or Modbus TCP, and an OCX interface is also provided to interface with custom programs. Just 3 steps are required to portray measurement data in trend diagrams, and data is stored continuously to a database.

Delphin Expert Key devices are available in 5 different models each with 2 version types. The Expert Key type 100 is equipped with a good range of analog and digital inputs and outputs and is highly suited for use within test engineering. The Expert Key type 200 has 28 universal inputs and is intended more for analog measurement data. Additionally, ProfiSignal Basic Software is available for process visualization and monitoring, as well as the powerful ProfiSignal Klicks Software for process automation and measurement procedures.
