DAQ Modules feature displays and Ethernet/USB connectivity.

Press Release Summary:

Smart remote CyMOD 7000 data acquisition (DAQ) modules communicate over Ethernet, USB, and RS-232/422/485 networks. While analog input models include two 8-input models with strain-gauge support, 2 analog output modules feature programmable power-on values and output slopes. Also available, 12 digital I/O modules have inputs that can also be used as 16-bit counters, outputs that support up to 100 mA per channel, and LEDs for I/O and relay status.

Original Press Release:

CyMOD 7000 Modules Add Displays, Ethernet, & USB

The new CyberResearch® smart remote CyMOD 7000 data-acquisition modules are faster, tougher, more versatile, and offer better displays than traditional CyMOD and ADAM 4000 models. They also communicate more freely on Ethernet, USB, and RS-232/422/485 networks.

The CyMOD 7000 line of analog-input models now includes two new 8-input models, expanded thermocouple and RTD ranges, plus expanded strain-gauge support. There are two new analog-output modules with programmable power-on values and output slopes. Twelve new digital I/O modules have inputs that can also be used as 16-bit counters, outputs that support up to 100 mA per channel (or relays for AC power control), and LEDs for I/O and relay status.

To make use of modern Ethernet and USB 2.0 buses, CyberResearch has added eight new converter modules. These isolated serial converters and repeaters help you mix and match RS-232/422/485 signals. You can place up to 256 modules on one RS-485 twisted-pair without a repeater or up to 2048 modules on one bus with repeaters. The new Ethernet modules can assign a unique address to each of the RS-232 devices they serve, so your PC can both send a command to a specific RS-232 device and receive a response.

In addition to the CyMOD 7000 line - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers both standard and custom-built industrial PCs, monitors, data acquisition, and motion-control systems.
