DAQ Boards provide simultaneous sampling.

Press Release Summary:

Models PCI-6143/PXI-6143 are 8-channel, 16-bit devices that sample at 250 kS/sec per channel. They include digital triggering, 8 digital I/O lines, and two 24-bit counter/timers. Models PXI-6133/PXI-6132 are 8- and 4-channel, 14-bit devices that sample at 2.5 MS/sec per channel. In addition to flexible input ranges from ±1.25-10 V and deep onboard memory up to 32 MS, units include analog and digital triggering, 8 hardware-timed digital I/O lines and two 24-bit counter/timers.

NI Introduces Four Low-Cost, Simultaneous-Sampling DAQ Devices

NEWS RELEASE - Aug. 10, 2004 - National Instruments today announced four new data acquisition devices that offer simultaneous sampling and improved measurement accuracy at a lower cost per channel. Engineers can use the NI PXI-6132, NI PXI-6133 and the NI PCI/PXI-6143 high-density DAQ devices to achieve improved performance previously limited to high-end, expensive instrumentation.

The NI PCI-6143 and PXI-6143 DAQ devices are eight-channel, 16-bit simultaneous-sampling devices that sample at 250 kS/s per channel. These devices also feature digital triggering, eight digital I/O lines and two 24-bit counter/timers.

The NI PXI-6133 and the PXI-6132 are eight and four-channel, 14-bit simultaneous sampling devices that sample at 2.5 MS/s per channel. To solve an increased range of applications, these devices feature flexible input ranges, from ±1.25 V to ±10 V, and deep onboard memory, up to 32 MS. The devices also offer analog and digital triggering, eight hardware-timed digital I/O lines and two 24-bit counter/timers.

The devices include a dedicated A/D converter per channel architecture that delivers better AC and DC accuracy compared to devices with multiplexed architecture. In addition, they also offer an improved price per channel due to the continuing trend of lower A/D converter prices. These new devices are ideal for applications requiring simultaneous sampling at high speeds over multiple channels, such as ultrasonic, ballistics, high-speed strain measurements and acoustics. The NI PXI-6133, NI PXI-6132 and NI PCI/PXI-6143 DAQ devices integrate seamlessly with NI software including NI-DAQmx measurement services software, NI LabVIEW, Measurement Studio and LabWindows/CVI.
