Daishinku (KDS) and SiTime Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement


SUNNYVALE, Calif. - SiTime Corporation, a MEMS and analog semiconductor company and a wholly owned subsidiary of MegaChips Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6875), today announced a strategic partnership with Daishinku Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6962), a leading manufacturer and seller of quartz crystal devices and resonators. This partnership brings together two industry leaders with the joint purpose of growing the timing market and increasing adoption of MEMS frequency control products.

As part of this collaboration, Daishinku will sell SiTime's industry-leading MEMS oscillators under the KDS brand through its extensive global sales and distribution network that reaches tens of thousands of customers. Daishinku will also collaborate with SiTime to enhance the MEMS timing device roadmap with products that deliver compelling value.
