LAS VEGAS, INTEROP, BOOTH 1261, MANDALAY BAY C.C., May 21 -- D-Link® will be showcasing its end-to-end line of networking, connectivity and communication solutions at the Interop 2007 trade show this week, complete with first-to-market wireless Smart switching, fully-managed IPv6 switching, iSCSI storage arrays, TAA compliancy, security, and next-generation telephony for small business.

Center stage in Booth 1261 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center May 22-24 will be D-Link's debut of the industry's first wireless Smart switch for growing businesses looking for a cost-effective switching solution with the added benefit of centralized access point (AP) management. Also on display is the latest addition to its popular xStack(TM) switch family -- the DGS-3600 series -- a feature-rich fully managed Layer 3 switching solution that offers IPv6 routing, redundant 40-Gigabit stacking and 10-Gigabit uplinks.

D-Link will also debut and demonstrate D-Link VoiceCenter(TM), a feature- rich and cost effective small-business phone system, designed for ease of use and manageability. Ideally suited for the small business requiring up to 25 extensions, D-Link VoiceCenter runs Microsoft Response Point(TM) software and supports both Voice over IP (VoIP) and traditional phone lines.

D-LinkTV(TM) -- the company's knowledge-based Internet video portal -- will tape live from a remote studio adjacent to the booth, bringing the latest news, expert interviews, and industry trends to customers and resellers direct to the Internet from the show floor.

D-Link has been chosen to participate in InteropLabs Network Access Control Initiative (NAC), a live test-bed where engineers tackle common technology challenges in a vendor-neutral, standards-based arena. D-Link will join other providers of networking infrastructure, wireless LAN (WLAN) and mesh infrastructures -- Aruba Networks®, Cisco Systems®, Extreme Networks®, HP®, Juniper Networks®, Motorola®, and Trapeze Networks® -- offering up its popular next-generation xStack 3200 Switch Series for interoperability testing.

Among the end-to-end connectivity solutions on display are:

Switching

D-Link's xStack DGS-3600 Switch Series -- D-Link will showcase the latest addition to its popular xStack switch family -- the DGS-3600 series -- offering support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) routing, the next level of IP addressing now being adopted by government and education organizations, at Interop Las Vegas 2007. D-Link is among the first manufacturers to offer the expanded IP address capability.

D-Link recently launched the 12-port DGS-3612G, a Layer 3 managed switch designed for long-distance fiber connections of more than 330 feet and will be unveiling two sister products, the DGS-3650, a 48-port version, and the DGS-3627, a 24-port version in the D-Link booth.

D-Link's DES-1228P Web Smart Switch -- D-Link is pleased to showcase the market's first wireless Smart switch for growing businesses looking for a cost-effective switching solution with the added benefit of centralized access point (AP) management. The newest product in the D-Link Web Smart solution line also offers existing DES-1228P customers the ability to add the wireless management functionality free of charge via a firmware upgrade.

In addition to the wireless features, the DES-1228P offers all the functionality of a Smart wired switch, such as virtual local area network (VLAN) segmentation, quality of service (QoS) prioritization and denial of service (DoS) prevention.

The switch will support the soon-to-be-released D-Link DWL-3140AP, a small, wall or ceiling-mounted wireless access point.

TAA Compliant Switches -- D-Link will display TAA-compliant models of its most sought-after managed switching solutions, adding to its product line support for government agencies to address regulatory compliance and opening doors to General Service Administration (GSA) schedule holders. TAA, the Trade Agreement Act of 1979, requires certain products be manufactured or substantially transformed in the U.S. or designated countries in order to be eligible for government purchase.

D-Link is offering a series of TAA-compliant switch offerings from its award-winning line of fully managed business-class stackable switches, including the powerful xStack DXS-3250 gigabit switch. By developing products under trade-compliant guidelines, D-Link will be eligible to sell its most popular switching solutions on GSA supply schedules. The GSA is the procurement arm of the federal government.

Security

NetDefend(TM) -- D-Link's NetDefend family of firewall/VPN security appliances has expanded with the addition of the DFL-S500 SSL VPN Firewall to provide a cost-effective security solution ideally suited to the small-to- medium business (SMB) by providing customized end-to-end security and delivering remote access connectivity features and benefits such as Web-based clientless access and full network access without pre-installed desktop software. These features enable customized remote access, minimize desktop support costs, and eliminate the need for costly security equipment and management infrastructure.

D-Link Support for Microsoft Network Access Protection -- D-Link has joined the partner ecosystem supporting Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP) technology with its xStack Switch series, including the DES-3500, DES-3800 and DGS-3600. Network Access Protection is a policy enforcement technology built into the Windows Vista® and Windows Server 2008® operating systems that allows customers to better protect network assets from unhealthy computers by enforcing compliance with network health policies.

Microsoft's Network Access Protection technology is publicly available with Windows Vista, and available to select partners and customers with Beta 2 of the future version of Windows Server, recently named Windows Server 2008. D-Link's Network Access Protection solution supports Network Access Protection by bridging Network Access Protection clients and the Network Access Protection servers.

D-Link's alliance with Microsoft adds to xStack's already rich feature set. Moving forward, D-Link will also integrate NetDefend security products with Microsoft NAP, which will further enhance D-Link's security solution from the endpoint desktop to the network gateway. With Microsoft NAP support, a D-Link xStack switch will grant each network host access only if it complies with IT security policies such as up-to-date anti-virus signatures and operating system patches.

IP Telephony

D-Link's VoiceCenter(TM) IP Telephony for Small Business family -- The D-Link Interop booth will be showcasing the company's revolutionary next- generation line of IP Telephony solutions specifically designed for small businesses with less than 25 seats.

The D-Link VoiceCenter IP Telephony products provide all of the essential telephony features required for small businesses, including sought-after voice recognition technology, in an easy to setup, manage, and use small business Microsoft Response Point phone system.
