Toyoda Machinery Shows the GE3 for Easy CNC Grinding at IMTS 2002
Arlington Heights -- June 1, 2002 -- Toyoda's GE3 cylindrical grinder is designed for highly precise automatic grinding of small lots.
Simplified programming makes this model an easy transition to CNC for the operator accustomed to hydraulic or manual machines. The conversational GC32S control teaches the user to create a program with a step-by-step format. Selection of feeds and speeds is automatic. Minimal data input dramatically reduces set up time, and automatic grinding is possible from the first work piece.
A variety of build-in grinding and dressing patterns, automatic wheel dressing, and a table design for traverse taper grinding are additional user-friendly features of Toyoda's GE3.
