CyberShift's Workforce Management Solutions Extend Capabilities for Mobile Employees with BlackBerry Support

CyberShift's Alliance With Vaultus Results in First Enterprise-Class Workforce Management Solution Integrated With the BlackBerry® Platform

LAS VEGAS, June 25 - THE SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT'S 59TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPOSITION - CyberShift, a leading provider of global workforce management and expense management software and services, today announced that their enterprise-class Workforce Management 3G(TM) solutions are now integrated with the BlackBerry® wireless platform. Used by thousands of organizations around the world, the BlackBerry platform is the de facto standard in wireless communications for mobile workers. CyberShift is the first vendor to release enterprise-class functionality of both workforce and expense management solutions that are integrated with the BlackBerry.

In 2006, CyberShift and Boston-based Vaultus Mobile Technologies, a leading mobile software firm, formed an alliance to support CyberShift's expense management automation (EMA) solution, Necho Expense, on the BlackBerry. That same year, CyberShift was the first vendor to offer their enterprise-class EMA solution on the BlackBerry device, allowing mobile workers to create expense reports using CyberShift's Necho Expense solution anytime, anywhere using their BlackBerry. Today, CyberShift is launching Blackberry integration as a key new component of its workforce management product suite to help clients effectively support their mobile workforce.

Craig Fearon, senior product director at CyberShift, said, "Part of CyberShift's vision is to bring enterprise applications to the mobile worker rather than bring the mobile worker to the enterprise application; thus offering true anytime, anywhere access for the enterprise mobile workforce. In support of this vision, we have established an innovative approach to enable the critical functions of workforce and expense management with the BlackBerry platform in partnership with Vaultus."

CyberShift and Vaultus have continued to work together to expand their mobile workforce initiatives and deliver greater value to CyberShift clients. Essential elements of CyberShift's workforce management solutions including time capture, employee self-service, labor distribution and management approvals, are now accessible by mobile or remote employees in real-time using their BlackBerry devices as a result of the CyberShift and Vaultus alliance.

Director of Business Development for Vaultus, Keith Waryas, commented, "CyberShift's technology and open architecture allowed us to create complementary applications through their open APIs and connectivity to support alternate modes of data entry and accessibility." With CyberShift's robust enterprise solutions, mobile employees have the option of entering data either through their BlackBerry online or working offline and switching to other modes of communication applications such as standard web browsers, interactive voice response, point-of-sale systems, time clocks and other methods.

Robert E. Farina, CEO of CyberShift said, "CyberShift is again leading the way in addressing the most complex needs of our clients; this time with enterprise-class tools designed to support all industries with a mobile workforce. In support of a broader set of strategic initiatives to support the mobile workforce, working with Vaultus, we now provide mobile workers with secure access to our enterprise-class workforce and expense management applications in real-time, while supporting corporate policies."
