CyberShift and Rearden Commerce Announce Partnership

o Market Leaders Join Forces to Deliver Single Comprehensive, Easy-to-Use Open Expense and Travel & Entertainment Management Solution for Mid-Sized to Large Enterprises -

BOSTON, July 23 -- at the National Business Travel Association's International Convention & Exposition -- CyberShift, a leading provider of global workforce management and expense management software and services, today announced a partnership with Foster City, Calif.-based Rearden Commerce, Inc. Rearden Commerce is the creator of the first online Personal Assistant and the largest online marketplace for services of all kinds. Under the terms of the partnership agreement, CyberShift and Rearden Commerce will deliver an integrated Web-based service booking and expense reporting management solution for mid-sized to large enterprises, which delivers comprehensive spend visibility and unparalleled user convenience.

The relationship enables CyberShift to offer its automated expense reporting solution, Necho Expense(TM), through the Rearden Commerce Open Expense Network. To support the offering, CyberShift has developed a consolidated back-end reporting portal that consolidates booked transaction data from Rearden Commerce and actual business expense data from Necho Expense. Now, mid-sized to large enterprises can strategically and proactively manage business expenses and business travel at the same time without adding extra work for the business traveler.

Necho Expense can be launched directly through the Rearden Personal Assistant, providing users convenient access to their expense reports. Booked transaction data is automatically matched with actual expense data based on a number of key parameters. This seamless integration of booking and expenses into one consolidated data repository offers tremendous quantifiable benefits to employers and convenience to employees.

With the combined power of Necho Expense and the Rearden Personal Assistant, administrators in accounts payable, finance, procurement, travel and other key departments can manage policies, spend and preferred providers while gaining deep insight into employee business expenses and spending patterns. Back-end data is populated from source systems and available for analysis on a regularly scheduled basis. This data reveals critical metrics that allow organizations visibility into their employee's business expenses in order to take proactive steps to reduce overall spend through improved policy communication or shifting market share from one supplier to another. Key reports and analysis have been created to provide detailed information including: variance reports that identify booked expenses versus actual expenses; total spend booked but not expensed; total spend expensed but not booked, matched transactions and users not using the booking tool.

Craig Fearon, senior product director at CyberShift, said, "We conducted a significant amount of research with our client base on travel and expense integration and the messages we heard were consistent and overwhelmingly in favor of a best of breed approach delivering an easy-to-use solution that consolidates and manages booking data together with actual expense data." He continued, "Based on customer feedback, we decided to partner with Rearden Commerce to integrate our two solutions and deliver a feature-rich solution that is convenient and easy-to-use for all users and provides meaningful and actionable data to our clients."

The Rearden Personal Assistant is an online tool that helps people find and purchase the services they need, from more than 137,000 service providers, based on personal preferences and company policies. Those services currently include travel planning, dining reservations, package shipping, web conferencing, event tickets, and more. The Rearden Personal Assistant also provides people with the tools they need to manage those services, like calendar and address book integration, email invites, and mobile alerts.

Patrick Grady, founder and CEO of Rearden Commerce, said, "CyberShift shares our philosophy about the importance of openness and allowing customers to decide what technology tools best meet their needs. We know that people want a convenient way to find, purchase and manage all the services they need from a single site and reconcile their expenses, and employers want actionable data that will help them make better policy decisions and identify new savings opportunities. We were impressed by the convenience and sophistication of CyberShift's solutions and its long history of partnering successfully with leading technology companies."

Robert E. Farina, CEO of CyberShift, said, "We listen closely to our clients' needs and work hard at forming partnerships that provide the highest value solutions to our clients with industry leading ease-of-use and adoption. We share Rearden Commerce's vision to provide the highest level of corporate and end user convenience and functionality for travel booking and expense management and are excited about the capabilities we can jointly provide to our clients. This partnership is another step in our long-term strategy to offer our customers the best solutions for their workforce and expense management needs."
