Sandvik Coromant's CoroTurn RC Designed For Multi-task Machining



Fair Lawn, New Jersey, September 8, 2004 - Sandvik Coromant has unveiled the CoroTurn RC Twin Tool to be used with multi-task machines. The new tool has been specifically designed to maximize accessibility and stability during turning operations.

The CoroTurn RC Twin Tool addresses the new demands put on cutting tools resulting from the large spindle nose in multi-task machines. Its design has been optimized to minimize accessibility problems and bring more flexibility to multi-task machining.

The CoroTurn RC Twin Tool also features two tip-seats in one holder, providing the option of changing operations with a single tool. Rigid insert clamping ensures excellent stability and high security against the risk of insert movement.

Two versions of the CoroTurn RC Twin Tool are available, one for running with the b-axis locked in at 45 degrees and the other for 90 degrees.
