Cutting Mill is offered with diameters of up to 3.9 in.

Press Release Summary:

CoroMill 210 is designed for plunge milling and high feed face milling. Ten degree entering angle allows extreme feed rates at small axial depths of cut when tool is fed tangentially, and also allows high radial depths of cut when fed axially in roughing operations. When used in plunge milling, product removes large volumes of metal in axial direction, such as when milling deep cavities or externally along deep shoulders.

Sandvik Coromant Expands CoroMill 210 Line

Fair Lawn, New Jersey, September 8, 2004 - Sandvik Coromant has expanded their CoroMill 210 line to include larger tools. The unique cutting tool is now available with diameters of up to 3.9 inches.

The CoroMill 210 is a mill whose unique design gives it capabilities for both productive plunge milling and high feed face milling. A ten degree entering angle allows extreme feed rates at small axial depths of cut when the tool is fed tangentially. The design also allows high radial depths of cut when fed axially in roughing operations.

When used for high feed face milling, the CoroMill 210 removes extremely large chip volumes at feed rates far above those possible with conventional face milling. Plunge milling with the CoroMill 210 is a highly efficient means of removing large volumes of metal in the axial direction, such as when milling deep cavities or externally along deep shoulders.

Sandvik Coromant is the world-leading supplier of high quality cutting tools designed to improve machining productivity.
