New SM 2000 Cutting Mill from Retsch Handles Difficult Samples
The new SM 2000 heavy-duty cutting mill from Retsch is suitable for both experimental and routine sample preparation of soft, medium-hard, tough, elastic, fibrous, and temperature-sensitive samples. Compared to other knife mills, the SM 2000 has a powerful, high-torque motor that can handle difficult samples such as sorted waste, plastic products, computer and electronic boards, leather, and textiles.
The SM 2000 Cutting Mill is available in two speed versions: 835 min and 1690 min. The 835 min version is especially useful for dealing with tough and temperature-sensitive materials such as waste, tires, carpet, leather, or plastic. The 1690 min version was designed mainly for agricultural products, wood, computer and electronic scrap, metal chips, and coal. A complete line of accessories is available including rotors, hoppers, and sieves to match specific applications. Easy access to the grinding chamber and the fold-back hopper make the SM 2000 easy to clean and sieves are easy to replace. The ergonomically designed
keyboard allows the user to operate the cutting mill with a high degree of convenience. Operational safety features are extensive; the product is designed according to strict CE guidelines.
