New Cutters Acheive Increased Productivity in Milling Aluminum

Schaumburg, IL. KOMET of America introduces a new line of Dihart cutters designed for rapid, high performance milling of aluminum and other alloys. The Dihart Cutters utilize inserts with PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tips for better tool life, improved surface finishes and increased production. Because the cutting
edges are soldered on the need for additional tool pre-setting is eliminated.

Dihart cutters were specifically designed to maximize the capabilities of today's higher speed milling machines. The multiple cutting edges provide a high level of repeatability in addition to maximum production rates.

Dihart PCD Cutters are ideal for both face milling and end milling. End milling cutters a suited for circular milling bores and slots, as well as over-milling ribs and bridges. These cutters can also provide heavy-duty face milling in a wide variety of applications. The flexibility of the Dihart PCD cutters enable multiple operations with a single tool, reducing the number of tools required on each milling machine.
