Manchester Tool Company Expands MTC(TM) Line, Introduces MTC-Separator® Xtra(TM) (MTC-SX(TM))
Akron, Ohio...Productivity reaches a new level with the introduction of MTC-SEPARATOR® Xtra(TM) (MTC-SX(TM)), cutoff inserts specifically designed as part of the MTC(TM) Toolholder and Insert Systems. The fully integrated MTC(TM) Toolholder and Insert System is available only from Manchester Tool Company, leaders in the manufacture of cutoff, grooving and threading tools for the machine tool market.
Offering a new standard in chip management, MTC-SX(TM) inserts take SEPARATOR® cutoff technology one step further with a double V design for maximum stability and application-specific geometry that minimizes cutting pressure and delivers superior surface finishes. MTC-SX(TM) inserts are the first double ended cutoff inserts offered by Manchester and deliver extended insert life, making the inserts highly cost-effective. Designed to increase speeds and feeds for all cutoff operations, MTC-SX(TM) inserts exclusively fit MTC(TM) integral shank toolholders.
MTC-SX(TM) inserts are available in three grades: M40 (-36), M45 (-33) and M93 (-34).
The fully integrated MTC(TM) Toolholder and Insert System, introduced by Manchester Tool in 2002, is composed of integral shank toolholders and specially designed inserts calculated to provide improved chip control and management.
