Quickie Cut(TM) Extra-Thin, Reinforced, Type 27 Cut-Off Wheels Now Available from Camel Grinding Wheels, USA



NILES, IL - January 2003 - Quickie Cut(TM) Type 27 cut-off wheels are now available from Camel Grinding Wheels, USA, a leading manufacturer of grinding wheels, flaps discs and other grinding materials.

Designed for use on right-angle grinders, the extra-thin, reinforced cut-off wheels are available in three materials: zirconia/aluminum oxide, white aluminum oxide/stainless steel, and silicon carbide/aluminum oxide.

The zirconia/aluminum oxide version is a general-purpose cut-off wheel and is offered in four diameter sizes: 4-1/2", 5", 6" and 7". The white aluminum oxide/stainless steel wheel is made
"iron-free," to prevent rust from developing. It is offered in three sizes: 4-1/2", 5" and 7". The special aluminum oxide version is for use on aluminum, and is available in 4-1/2" diameter only.

All Quickie Cut Type 27 cut-off wheels have thicknesses of 0.045" and an arbor opening of 7/8". The wheels are reinforced with premium fiberglass layers for extra strength. Their unique
bond design provides for long wheel life.

Speeds are as follows: 13,300 rpm for the 4-1/2" wheels, 12,300 rpm for the 5" wheels, 10,200 rpm for the 6" wheels, and 8,600 rpm for the 7" wheels. All Quickie Cut wheels are shipped 25 to a carton.

Quickie Cut cut-off wheels can be used in a variety of applications, including manufacturing, construction, welding and fabricating. The wheels are made using a fully automated manufacturing process that allows for better grain retention, sharper product, uniformity, and longer disc life.
