Milwaukee Introduces Premium 14-Inch Dry Cut-Off Machine

The new Milwaukee 6190-20 14" dry cut-off and the 6180-20 14" abrasive cut-off machines make cutting angle iron, metal studs, pipe stock and other ferrous and nonferrous metals faster, easier and more economical. This dynamic duo offers you the ability to cut metal with dry or cold-cutting technology or by using a conventional abrasive wheel. Both units have heavy-duty features that make fast, accurate cuts and minimize downtime.

Dry cut technology will cut on average 3X faster than abrasive machines

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces the new 6190-20 14-inch Dry Cut-Off Machine with a 15 amp, 4.8 max H.P. motor for metal cutting applications. This is the most durable and largest capacity dry-cut machine available on the market today.

The new saw utilizes dry (a.k.a. "cold") cutting technology which will cut on average 3X faster than abrasive machines and its costs 1-1/2 times less than to operate. Equipped with durable, fast cutting 14-inch, 72-tooth carbide-tipped blade, the saw produces a virtual spark-free wake and cool, burr and scorch-free edges that don't require post-cut finishing.

Compared to cutting with an abrasive wheel, the carbide-tipped blades last up to 30 times longer, significantly lowering the cost per cut, not to mention the time savings associated with 1 versus 30 blade changes.

Model 6190-20 14-inch Dry Cut-Off Machine is anchored by a heavy-duty base of cast aluminum, not the sheet steel standard on the competitors. The base is reinforced with a quarter-inch steel plate for additional support and to prevent the base from warping or flexing. It has six markings for the three fence position of 45 and 90 degrees so the operator can easily and quickly set up cuts to these common angles.

The new Dry Cut-Off Machine comes standard with a heavy-duty vise and fence made from 3/8" material that holds stock firm and secure. The horizontal D-Handle provided additional comfort whether the tool is on the ground or a bench.

The Dry Cut-Off Machine is designed for cutting structural steel and metal including angle iron, tubing/pipe, channel/I-beams, steel studs, conduit and UniStrut. It is the ideal machine for iron workers, steel erectors, welders, fabricators, mechanical contractors, general contractors, electricians, plumbers and maintenance and repair personnel.

The 6190-20 14-inch Dry Cut-Off Machine is backed by Milwaukee's 5 Year Limited Warranty and Service Plus Program, providing one year of free maintenance when shipped to a Milwaukee Branch Office/Service Center.
