Cut Technologies Metal, L.L.C. announces the addition of a new line of cermet tipped circular blades for cutting metals (mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel and other metals) to the already popular Bi-metal COUGAR XX (M42) band saw line. Cermet tipped circular saw blades, ColdCut 1000 series, are high performance blades that allow metal material to be cut faster, 5x faster than abrasive wheels and with less material loss. These blades are ideal for chop saws. We also have a line of Cermet tipped blades available for cold saw machines and the CTC-1000 blades for high production cold saw machines (Tsune, Nishijimax and others). The COUGAR XX (M42) band saws are exceptional with teeth of alloy steel, 8% cobalt, and 10% molybdenum and our specially developed 4% chromium-backed steel which has proven to provide greater wear resistance and fatigue life in the most demanding applications.
