Customized Production Logistics Concepts STROTHMANN at LogiMAT 2015
Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock, Germany – At the 2015 LogiMAT exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany, STROTHMANN (hall 3, stand 3C41) will present complete systems solutions for challenges in intra-logistics as well as a new RoundTrack size for even heavier loads. RoundTrack technology has many advantages over pallet trucks and overhead cranes since its transport trolleys simultaneously serve as mobile work stations which can be pushed or driven with little energy. The new RoundTrack 60 system allows for payloads up to 15 t per wheel. A trolley with four double-wheel sets can already move loads of up to 120 tons. Complementing the widely successful RoundTrack 25 and 40 mm systems for comparatively lighter loads, this provides an additional transport system for flow production of industrial goods. STROTHMANN implements complete transport solutions based on this intra-logistics technology, from simple pallet transportation to flow assembly lines and comprehensive concepts for an efficient material flow. The modular system includes rails, transport trolleys, various drive options, hoist mechanisms, and much more.
