Stanley Vidmar Now Offers Custom-Designed Pallets for its Stak System® Adjustable Storage System
New customized pallets meet the needs of expanding industries.
A Vidmar engineering team can now adapt a Stak System® adjustable storage system to accommodate the storage requirements of virtually any business. Vidmar's new custom-designed pallet service should make this best-selling automated storage and retrieval system even more popular.
The patented Stak System® adjustable storage system, with over 3000 units sold, is an integrated, single-operator system for the storage, retrieval, and staging of items weighing up to 4,000 pounds. It's designed to save time and space: Its captive lifting and handling device eliminates the need for a skilled fork lift driver, while requiring less aisle width than a fork lift, and its height-adjustable pallets let users maximize storage density. Standard pallet options include reel dispensers, barrel storage, and tool holders, among others.
But customers aren't limited to these standard selections. Vidmar engineers are experts at devising new ways to secure any item while keeping it accessible. They have designed pallets to support everything from cable reels, to 50-gallon drums, to CNC machine tools. Some recent custom-designed pallets include a base pallet that rolls out like a drawer, and an extra-wide pallet designed to store all-terrain vehicles for the military. Vidmar also developed its new Flow-Through Pallet at the request of a customer. The Flow-Through Pallet is designed for use where local codes require overhead sprinkler systems. Its open grate allows water from the sprinklers to filter down through several levels of storage.
