New Product HP 5642 Customer-Assembled Rack
Introducing the new HP 5642 customer-assembled rack for the value conscious customer with 42 U of racking capacity and 680 Kg/1500 Lbs of static load capacity. The HP 5642 rack is specifically designed for the value minded customer, presenting significant savings while still proving to be a reliable industry standard rack that will meet most racking requirements.
The HP 5642 rack has industry standard dimensions of 19 inches between the two front RETMA rails. The rack features an easy and intuitive assembly process with minimized part quantity. The perforated rear door of the HP 5642 rack is lockable preventing intrusion to the cable and power supply area of the rack. The side panels are necessary for proper airflow and are included with each HP 5642 rack. Leveling feet are standard, while the stabilizing feet, baying kit, and front door are optional. The combination of a perforated rear door and optional front door allows sufficient airflow for cooling, and the 1,000 millimeter depth provides room for today's deeper servers and bulky cabling requirements.
