Custom Workstation Offers 10 Backplane Slots

Every industrial and laboratory control system is unique,
so CyberResearch® offers engineers and scientists the flexibility
of 10 backplane slots to fill almost any need. Users can mix and
match PCI, ISA, and PISA slots in a NEMA 4/12 workstation that
includes a 15" 200-nit LCD TFT display with optional touchscreen.

The N4W 1550 rack-mount workstation from CyberResearch, Inc. makes it easy for users to custom-design their own PC workstations. Users can customize these workstations with a variety of CPU cards and backplanes for 7PCI/1 CPU/2 ISA slots, 4 PCI/1 CPU/5 ISA slots, 4 PCI/1 PISA/5 ISA slots, or 10 ISA slots. Each backplane provides 7 full-length and 3 medium-length (11.7") slots.

N4W 1550 workstations have a locking door on the lower front panel that prevents unauthorized access to included CD and floppy drives, a USB port, a PS/2 keyboard port, and the main power switch.

Display controls are conveniently located on the front panel, just to the left of the bright 15" 200 nit LCD display. The 59-key membrane keypad and touchpad can be supplemented with an analog resistive touchscreen. Touchscreens take up one RS-232 port on the CPU card.

In addition to custom-built PCs and workstations-now shipping from stock-CyberResearch, Inc., also offers data-acquisition and motion-control systems plus chassis and serial communications. For more information call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit www.cyberresearch.com.
